Okay, so I've been wanting to do this for a while. Please note, this is my first review of anything, ever and most of it is very unscientific.

Is there a significant increase in high ISO and DR?

Yes there is a dramatic increase in ISO performance and dynamic range, however the best reason to upgrade is the better AF.. For example I did a wedding last weekend where the bride and groom were under a tree and the background was very sunny.. My 6d would have struggled big time with this situation however with the 5d4 all of my shots were in focus.. 5d4, 2x6d, 5d2, 24-70L II, Sigma 35A 1.4, Canon 70-200 2.8L II, 135 2.0L, 430ex2, 600ex-rt

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard! - Fallout New Vegas

I have now been using the 5d4 primarily for weddings with a 6d as backup. For the ceremony I attach my 70-200 to my 6d and it seriously feels like an old, outdated dinosaur, and the lack of touch screen really does my head in now after using the 5d4 5d4, 2x6d, 5d2, 24-70L II, Sigma 35A 1.4, Canon 70-200 2.8L II, 135 2.0L, 430ex2, 600ex-rt

Niccas9 Senior Member More info | You had problems with your 6d at 6400 ISO? I have never had a problem with the ISO performance but the AF is simply horrible...and that is coming from someone who loves my 6d.

I would rarely take the ISO over 1600 on my 6d, I know the 6d can produce useable shots at 6400, but as a wedding photographer I would try use other forms of lighting to keep ISO low such as flash, OFC and light sticks 5d4, 2x6d, 5d2, 24-70L II, Sigma 35A 1.4, Canon 70-200 2.8L II, 135 2.0L, 430ex2, 600ex-rt
