Latest video AF performance with MC-11 + 18-35mm Sigma?

I've been following the MC-11 reviews closely and they have released quite a few updates that impressed me (e.g. Eye AF on Sigma lenses). What I'm curious to know is whether Video AF performance has improved if I use this combo with my a6300 and a7r2?

I already own the native 24-70GM, 24/1.8 Zeiss but intend to sell them if the Sigma can do the job just as well.
