Well in this case I used 1/180 since there is no need for HSS indoors in the evening :)

Late night piano practice documented with my fuji 16 megapickle LOL camera.

I see virtually little to no remote flash work with fuji on this forum. I just wanted to throw some dynamics in a daily ritual of piano practice. I incorporate remote flash as much as I can and I'm still getting use to the fuji handling in this style of photography. I do like what I produce when I'm still practicing with my fuji bodies.

The more I play with my current fuji gear I definitely need to consider getting at least an X-T2 (x2) for my needs. I'm not fully comfortable with my 16mp bodies in how they perform AF. I do notice the 10-24mm missing AF in low light as I document practice "events" using remote flash. I use UWA alot in my workflow when I document events. The 10-24mm is completely blurry in some photos not even close in acquiring focus and any attempts in manually locking on would miss the shots entirely. I still have full confidence in Canon performance in the flash photography aspect.

I'm still not giving up on fuji for events work "my style" of shooting. So far I do like the IQ but the "AWB" is still an issue for me when incorporating remote flash. The kelvin goes from hot to cold even in the same room but different angles. I may just have to do more experimenting and locking kelvin. This is something I'm not experiencing with my 5dmk2, mk3 or even 80D with remote flash work.

If Fuji is listening.....please make a UWA that is f/2.8 :)

These images I simply used my 16mm. I really dig this lens.

16mm is a mighty lens & there is a rumour of a 8mm to ~16mm F/2.8 zoom for next year, rumour is all.
