On another forum I read where guys were using midi boards for working with Lightroom. I began to think after getting on board with loupedeck I was looking for an interim solution. I remember seeing a jog wheel some years ago and found that the Griffen Powermate was fairly inexpensive and ordered one over the holidays and when it came in I began experimenting with it the first thing I learned was you needed to download the software for it to work. I looked up the commands for six of the actions I needed it to do and programmed the software with these commands.

For me I don't use a mouse so no mouse wheel which I'd what most use from what I've read to move the sliders in the develop module of Lightroom. I use a Wacom cintiq 13" so I needed the fine control for the sliders. I started using it in my left hand but found I could use my right hand just as easy without having to put the pen down. I tap to go to the next slider then turn to adjust then hold it down to go to the crop tool I have fine adjustments by turning it if I want major movement I push the knob down then turn it. But I'm thinking of changing the tap and turn and the tap and hold to different functions when I can find the commands.

Might be a little old, but it might be helpful to tweak your midi interface with Lightroom.
