Hi guys,

I'm an advanced LR user, but only recently got exposed to FastRawViewer and Photo Mechanic, thanks to the slow processing of a7r2 files in LR.

I'm currently thinking whether to go with FRW or PM. For PM, I have the following queries:

1. How do I hide the top toolbar? Using full screen mode doesn't hide the top bar.
2. Is the size of the sidebars customizable? When I drag it to the sides, it simply covers part of the info, and does not auto resize things like my thumbnails/histogram etc.
3. How do I get PM to use higher-res previews when zoomed in to check for focus accuracy? I know it uses JPEG previews, but at what resolution? It is super pixelated and I can barely make out the focus. In FRW, it is shown in full res, without lag too.
4. Is there a focus peaking tool in PM?

From what I have seen and tried so far, FRW seems to be superior and so much cheaper.

Thanks in advance for your help!
