Today I took a picture on my fairly new Sandisk 64GB card, but when I put it in the computer, it said "bad disk". I tried ejecting and re-inserting it into my card reader I continued to get the problem. When I put it back into the camera, it said "no images".

I re-took the picture on another new 64GB card and read it successfully in my computer.

Oddly enough, when I re-inserted the "bad disk" in my card reader, intending to try formatting it, the picture, and many older ones, magically reappeared! I was able to copy today's picture into my computers. And back in the camera, the pictures reappeared there too.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

I no longer trust the card, and will replace it.

I have never experienced that problem but that is exactly the correct answer. Hopefully, you can collect on the warranty.

I've had a few SDHC cards give me problems. They are cheap. Replace them.

Both replies suggested replacing the card. I have already initiated the exchange with Amazon. (The card was only about 10 days old, well within the return period.)

Thanks anyway for the feedback.
