I know this isn't critique page. But do you think the atmospheric distortion takes away from this peice?

The focus was on the trees in the foreground, and I was hoping at f/9, the background would be sharper. I guess it didn't work well. Or maybe the 28-105 lens I used is not that sharp. Or, as you suggested, it could be the atmospheric distortion.

Urgh sorry on mobile chrome ATM. I was talking about this light house I shot. It's was a foggy winter sunrise @ 600mm. So it shows quite alot of the atmosphere. I like your image though. Has depth
