@Setagate, they both look over processed to the point that they look unnatural. If you look at the first one, it has visible halo's all over the edges of the trees in the distance (over sharpening or adjustment brush), it really hides a very nice picture.

If you wouldn't mind sharing the raw file we could have a look at it.

I drove through this storm and saw the image in my rear view mirror and just had to stop to take a quick shot before it caught up with me again.

Flying home from Portland, Oregon via Iceland meant there was a good chance of seeing Aurora Borealis through the plane window. This was the first time I had ever witnessed the Northern Lights, so I was extremely happy to capture it at 38,000 feet.

Thanks! There was a full moon, which made it a little challenging to shoot but it did illumate the clouds and wing nicely.
