Thank you for the link. I noticed the free app is version 9 and that DXO optics pro is at version 11.

How old is version 9?

Well, DPP is still my favorite converter, but sometimes one wishes for a few more adjustment options while still in raw. Without sacrificing conversion quality, if possible.

Having said that, up to now I've never experienced visible quality loss from completing in a pixel editor what couldn't be accomplished within DPP. But I only adjust my pictures in post, I don't remake them.
