I know this is going to be an easy answer, but I've been playing with the auto focus settings and somewhere I changed something so when in autoservo mode it seems to start with the Zone AF all the way to the right of the screen. I would rather start with Expand AF Area in center. Where is this setting?

Just tab it back to the Center (or wherever you want it) with the thumb joystick.

You can also set where it starts off on Auto focus menu 4 Iniital AFpt (item 6)

Oh geeze....I think I just contributed to the classic blunders thread! I've been playing with this problem on and off for a couple days and I would turn the camera off and on to see if anything did the trick...finally clicked after I noticed menu settings kept reverting back that I had it in C3 mode!

Don't feel bad. If I had a dollar for every blunder I made I could retire by now.

That thing is worth its weight in gold. My 5D4 has it in a new location close to the multi controller and I'm still training my thumb to find it.

I like the flicker thing too... why they didn't put the exact same thing on the 5D4 is beyond me.

Definitely prefer the 7D2 "lever" to the 5D4 "nubbin" ;)

Yeah me too. A lot of nubbin is a good way to describe it but it is better than nothing.
