Was out looking for some foxes when my son and I bumped a group of 80+ bulls. I know its cold every where right now but the truck said 8 degrees and the wind was strong. Was happy to capture this under the conditions.

Very Nicely done. This would make an excellent framed print.

This is a really special image, Stacy! The fact that the white snow reflects light up onto the elk was essential here - there's no other way you would get them illuminated with ambient light and still be able to expose the sky so nicely, at least not in a single exposure. Very nicely done, in a situation that was quite challenging, inasmuch as exposure is concerned. Masterful use of that ambient light!

By the way, I haven't seen you much around here anymore. Is it just my imagination, or have you not been frequenting POTN the way you used to? If so, it'd be great to have you "come back to us". There need to be more of us on here representing the Inland Northwest and its wildlife!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
