I saw that Amazon Basics (the "no frills" made by amazon line) has a photography section with some cheap flashes, filters, and other photography accessory doodads.

I'm a hobbyist and used the bag at least 1/week. A similar lowepro has been great for 3 years now. When you buy a $20 backpack you get a $20 backpack. That being said I think typical costs of good bags are insane. $300 for a bag? I wait for the one day special deals.

I've been buying eneloops for the last 6 years now and the major selling point is that they retain x amount of energy for multiple years with the ability to recharge x number of times. The description on Amazon leads me to believe they are not rebranded eneloops at all, but rather most likely just a basic manufacturer. The batteries I bought 6 years back get drained and charged at least once a week and are still going strong, while the batteries I bought 4 years back still function in other things like remotes and toys. (the newest version claims to hold energy for 5 years rather than 3 and can be recharged more than double when the ones I bought 6 years back said)

I've been using the Amazon Basics exclusively for a few years, they beat all my old style NIMH in many ways,. and appear to function identically to the few eneloops I bought way back when,. but I do not use them nearly as often as Mike. If the new Eneloops are rated for five years, then these Amazon Basics look a lot like the old Eneloops, specs wise. http://www.colorblindedphoto.com
