I have noticed that when I mount my 430EX ii on the 622C and control it through the 622C-TX unit on camera the flash indicator in my 5DSR viewfinder is always on, which means I have no clue if the flash is ready to fire or still recharging.
Is this a normal behaviour?

Thanks
Francesco

Completely normal. And the 622c/430EX has nothing to do with it. The 'ready' indicator is only telling you that your -TX is turned on. Neither your camera, nor the -TX has any idea the 622c/430 even exist.

As expected, your remotely fired flash units can time out/turn off, with no in-camera warning/notice.

Thanks men.
I guess that is common to any other off camera triggering systems (godox x1 etc..) and there is no work around?
