Going through old photos. Fuji finepix2800 zoom did an alright job. Taken 2003.

Most cameras will do OK under ideal conditions. It's when you step out of these conditions that the better cameras shine.

If it is the military vehicle, you can see the noise and loss of detail on the front grill/brush catcher due to NR already at web sizes, and that was at ISO 100.

Nothing wrong with old cameras, but one cannot argue how much better current bodies are at low light, ISO, DR and detail capture at large resolutions over older bodies... Heck, I still have some great shots taken with a Canon G2 back before 2004, but at 4Mpx, they are good for web images these days with the higher resolutions of monitors, etc.

Where does old start? Can I post some 1D3 photos? Coming up on 9 years and can still shoot 3000 exposures on half a battery :P

Good point, do I compare the PS4 or XBOX 1 to the PS1, N64, Intellivision, Atari 2600, or the Pong console?
