Sorry about that. I reuploaded my photos to fix the exif issue, I accidentally set Lightroom to scrub most of the info on export. Edited the post with the replacement pics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rickstratman/

I think you mean the glowing rotors. They get REALLY hot under extreme braking. Calipers hold the brake pads over the rotors and don't get hot enough to glow.
