They can convey the gravity of the situations. The rest is like....family photos or get together photos. Too much use of wide angle here and what's with the distortions and unstraightened vertical lines..... One Imaging Photography

OhLook insufferably pedantic. I can live with that. 24,808 posts Gallery: 105 photos Best ofs: 2 Likes: 16149 Joined Dec 2012 Location: California: SF Bay Area More info | TooManyShots, you have your preferences. I don't find the mix of photos objectionable. Not all the images have to document official occasions. In fact, there's value in reminding the citizenry that any president remains a human being even while occupying the office. He sometimes dresses informally or looks tired or engages with his family and his ordinary visitors. Candid photos of past presidents have become famous. JFK and LBJ are good examples. PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

tonylong ...winded More info | Jan 15, 2017 13:48 | #11 I'd say it's a juggling act -- candids (or snapshots) of a notable public "figure" in various settings can have meaning to those who have some substantial regard for that person and perhaps for others or for venues in those photos, so, sure, I have no "problem" with such photos being shared for what they are. However, of course, there would and should be photos that have more "impact", and sure, we've seen such photos not just about our current President but past ones as well! And then, the ball will roll forward into the future! Tony
