I was at the adobe site trying to purchase the LR 6 perpetual license. It keeps sending me to CC.

Can the perpetual license for LR6 be purchased anymore? Or is it just the cloud these days?

thanks

just a few of my thoughts...
Pierre

You might need to telephone them and ask for the perpetual licence version of LR. Be prepared to stand your ground, because they will try, try, cajole, and manipulate you into buying into their cloud system.

There are better RAW processors out there, you know? But if you're determined to go with Lightroom then you need to contact them directly and remain so. Good luck.

I found it easily (on the Canadian site)
Avoid the CC area and look for an "All Products" button/link

The response to have ready to use..."Look, if Adobe will not sell me the one time, purchased license of LR6, I'm ready to change to Capture One instead!"

I wish I had a similar ultimatum to make them sell Photoshop CS6.

"As a photographer I have no need for most of what Photoshop provides, so without the sales by Adobe of the one-time, purchased Photoshop license it is time for me to switch over to Paintshop Pro and pay less for what I do use."
