Congrats! You sure made the decision quickly since yesterday :)

It's Adorama's free shipping that really amazed me!

To be fair, I STARTED contemplating this the day it was announced.
I had been seriously considering an AD600, but as soon as I heard about this unit, my thoughts started to go towards this instead.

I owned 2 AD200. It serves most of my needs except when I do high volume weddings group shots. I haven't trust it enough to withstands alot of repeated use so that's the only time my AD600 get use and when I shoot full power @ 1.4/1.8.

Hi, I'm interested in the AD200 to complement some other strobes from other brands.

Has anyone made extensive and somewhat rigorous tests with several AD200s regarding :

- WB consistency across the power range (between max and min power),
- WB consistency from shot to shot at both max and min power,
- WB consistency at the same power setting between different AD200 copies,
- WB consistency at the same power setting between different heads / flash tubes,
- power consistency at the same power setting between different AD200 copies,
- power consistency at the same power setting between different heads / flash tubes ?

I'm not expecting it to be quite as good as the Profoto B2s that I'm currently using (taking all of the above, there is a 300K max spread, 150k max in most common situations) but if it's still reasonable I'm definitely interested.

Thanks for your inputs !

PS : I'm also quite curious how the new dual mount will handle WB consistency, particularly when using two AD200 with one 360 flash bulb. This will be interesting.

^^ For what you asking you will have to do it yourself. Simple test with 1 or 2 AD200s is doable. Right now I only got 1 AD200. Haven't done any testing yet. $300 a pop, they are dirt cheap compared to Profotos so pick couple and check them out.

The WB consistency question is an interesting one, but since its only critical for situations where the flash is the only contributing light source its kind of a specialized situation.

I've thought of doing the testing, not only with the AD200, but also with the AD360 and AD600 in combination.

Its just one of those things that needs a time commitment I can't make at the moment.

More important to me is this:

I received a Godox TT350f yesterday. Did a quick test with GFX. It does TTL and HSS.

More importantly, it controls an AD200 as an Off Camera Light for TTL and HSS. I installed the latest version firmware in the AD200 when it was released last week in anticipation of the TT350.

All the control was from the TT350f. I have yet to explore how the camera flash control menu works.

So, until I can do more exhaustive testing, TTL and HSS from Godox X system works with GFX. (And also XT-2)

Since the page and product for the dual head Bowens was yanked by all sites, I thought I would put this up from what I can find on cached pages.

The twin bracket is still coming, apparently Adorama didn't mean for it to go live just yet, and Godox asked if they could remove the listing as well as my post for now.

I don't think there's anything to this, the brackets are just not quite ready yet.

ya... it is. W/ dual modeling lamps. I wonder how much this would put out. regardless it'll give enough light for autofocus to work well.
