Why "one"? You should buy 2 or more..... remember, when it's on sale - the more you buy, the more you save.:-)

I ordered late Tuesday, and it got processed on Wednesday. With the 3 hour time difference, that's understandable. It would have been nice to have for the weekend though. :-)

Tuesday was Amazon Prime Day.....in order to be able to cope, we got extra pickers and packers in; they started early and finished late. Problem was, one of our packing machines broke down at 7:30 pm. vmad There literally wasn't enough time to get all the orders packed and onto the trailers before the UPS drivers showed up.........

No worries, Helen. UPS delivered it yesterday afternoon even though the tracking indicated a Monday delivery. Go figure. :-)

LOL, I like that advice.....just pulled the trigger on two (along with two bulb protectors). Now all I have to do is find a PC that way I can update them with so I can use them with my Fuji system. Really wish it supported mac for updates!

I used mine for the first time to take family group shots outdoors during our family reunion. I took 120 shots with HSS and didn't miss a beat in a double diffused small octabox, and it worked very nicely. My only complaint, the screen is not bright enough outdoors to read (even in the shade), and I also noticed after taking the unit outdoors that its screen appears to be scratched right out of the box from Adorama.

Here is a photo from today with the eVOLV 200 in a double diffused 18 inch octabox mounted with an S bracket and light stand, TTL mode, shot during mid-afternoon (no choice on time of day so used diffused light under tree)-

Is there a protective cover over the display that needs removed?

So sorry to see this - can you please email me with your order # plus a picture, so I can get it replaced?

To answer the question above, yes, the screen protector was removed so I don't believe that to be the issue. Below is a photo of the scratches, which seems a bit excessive right out of the box.

Helen- I sent you an email with the Adorama / Amazon invoice and photo. Thanks so much for offering to take care of this!

TS asked because several of us who have this unit had ours come all scratched up "until we removed a perfectly cut film"

See on the right edge just above the HSS button, looks like the film is still on.

Again, I am not saying you didnt already pull it off. Only that several of us have run into this.

Hey man...

Peel that film off. Or leave it on so it keeps protecting the plastic screen underneath.

Let me translate that for you: The film is still on.

Just speaks to the quality of the product when you have a screen protector cut perfectly :)

I think they mass produce this plastic screen with a water jet machine and they cut through the film and just leave it on. Either way it's truly a remarkable piece of exactness.
