Are you comparing with the manual version of the AD600 at $600 or the TTL version at $750?

AD200 is nice but LCD is painful outside. I like the one on AD600. Also I like using much lighter extension head on AD600. I know folks say "no wires" with AD200 but two AD200 is heavy and you have two strobes to manage than one AD600. AD200 means I need sand bags while with AD600 I can just stick AD600 at the bottom my wheeled stand. And not to mention one of these days when Adorama has sale, I will go for 1200ws head to gang two of AD600s.

Fuji XT-1, 18-55mm
Sony A7rIV, , Tamron 28-200mm, Sigma 40mm f1.4 Art FE, Sony 85mm f1.8 FE, Sigma 105mm f1.4 Art FE
Fuji GFX50s, 23mm f4, 32-64mm, 45mm f2.8, 110mm f2, 120mm f4 macro
Canon 24mm TSE-II, 85mm f1.2 L II, 90mm TSE-II Macro, 300mm f2.8 IS I

Yeah, if you really need that much power most of the time, go with the AD600.

I’d don’t.

That's just it. I don't always need that much power. With the AD600 I would have one powerful light. With the AD200's, I would have 2 not as powerful lights that I can separate and have two flashes or combine as needed.

Count Down ..... to Black Friday sales at the retailers.

I see some CraigsList listings for the AD360 and other pre- 2017 products at low low prices.....

All sales streams are preparing for battle. :-)

Well, if you happen to see a great deal on black Friday, specifically on a ad200 variant, post up. I'm eagerly awaiting a sale on a kit like this:

Thanks!

So here's a quick question. Why is the same gear sold for the same price under different names? I've found it under Cheetahstand, Godox and Flashpoint. I know they used to do this with cars. You could by a dodge dart or a plymouth duster, same vehicle, just different name plates on the cars.

Because the company that actually makes them doesn't have a retail presence in the markets that buy them so they rebrand them for other companies to sell them directly.

Same thing happens with Manfrotto stands but for different reasons.

Pelican 1510 case, 2 ad200, 2 short manfrotto stands, 2 Bowens s mounts, and an x1..... all fitting inside the case. You have an immediate family portrait kit! Did that this weekend! Only the reflective umbrellas don't fit in the case. :( I will find 2 umbrellas that will fit, but they will be smaller ones.
