US Army Black Hawk. Helicopter main rotors are slow. Does anyone know what the shift at the rotor tip is? Is that the 2nd curtain's transit?

Yeah they're the same so I ruled out lighting angle. It just looks like the last couple of feet of each blade is shifted. It reminds me of rolling shutter but this wasn't shot with an electronic shutter. I don't shoot many helicopters so this caught my eye.

Is it possible we are seeing blade movement from the drag hinges and possibly the flapping hinges?
These are hinges that allow the blades to move (somewhat) independently of one another to compensate for various forces (I don't know if you care for all the details).

You're right. I just looked up some pictures of the Black Hawk with the rotor stopped and they're a bit wider at the end.
