Last KLM 747 will be retired in 2021 with the exception of three KLM Cargo 747's that will be in service after that.

United retired theirs, I don't think any USA airlines have them anymore. British Airways and Lufthansa still fly them, but I don't know for how long. Some of the Asian airlines also have newer ones with the pinked engines. A 777 carries nearly as many passengers, but with reduced maintenance of only 2 engines.

At one time I was an avionics tech for Pan Am at LAX. I did a lot of work on the 747, sure miss them.

I took this shot using my 1D4 and rented 100-400 II at the Planes of Fame Air Show, 2015.
