I get confused. Is this the older Kenko tubes? The ones I've seen have different grip design.

I couldn't tell you to be honest.. They look the same as the ones on the Kenko site http://www.kenkoglobal​.com …o_extension_tub​e_set.html (external link)

I don't know enough to know the difference though.

Does the tube work with both EF and EF-S mount? I know the earlier Kenko didn't work with EF-S.

The ones that work with efs lens have a white square next to the red dot. The ones for sale will not work with efs lenses the ones below will.. Pic from Amazon.
