This might be a long shot but does anyone have any experience with these two lenses? mostly concerned about focusing speed of the 16-35mm (mk3) compared to the 35mm (mk1). I currently have the 16-35 mk1 and that is noticeably sucky in this arena compared to my 35mm mk1. Looking to replace both lenses with 1 solution. I figured by now, a newer mk3 16-35 should be better or equal to a 35mm mk1 even if it is a zoom lens.

started this thread awhile back https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1469256 and the 16-35 mk3 seems really favorable and Im about to pull the trigger but just wanting one last call on opinions about focusing sped and accuracy if anyone has any
