Folks please can someone help me?

I am locked out of my flickr account due to not being able to sign in to yahoo, what has happened is I have two yahoo accounts and both have flickr accounts, my main one has over 1000 photos in it and this is the one I can not sign into as every time I go to sign in the page shows a verification phone request, the problem is I have since changed numbers and can not remember my old number, so without knowing my old number yahoo wont sign me in.
I have no problems with my normal yahoo account and can open the flickr account assosiated with my main one, but it has no photos in it, I was hoping there might have been a work around to transfer my flickr photos from one flickr account to my other one, but again if I cant log in to it then I guess I cant do that.
It breaks my heart to loose out on control of my photos on flickr as these ones were not backed up and the only copies are in flickr.

I spent some time on the phone with yahoo who told me my one account with all the flickr photos had been hacked, causing my password to be changed and locking me out of the account, they wanted a fee to clense my system before they would do anything about getting back into my yahoo account.

Can someone help with this please loosing so many photos is just So Wrong:-(:-(:-(

I'm pretty sure Yahoo don't charge you for this sort of this. How exactly did you contact them? Sounds very like a Ransomware scam.

I found them by googling Yahoo contact - and a number came up for Yahoo customer service UK 08000148093 the chap ran me through a few ideas then wanted to do a remote assist to find out what the problem was, he said my one yahoo account had been hacked and showed me some dodgy stuff in my laptop and the hack location codes abroad.

Dont know how my yahoo could get hacked when I have 3 forms of firewalls including the windows one and malwarbytes.

You didn't get hacked, Yahoo did. The firewalls on your machine are useless in this case.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

that's the scam right there...i wouldn't give remote assist to some random number you find on the internet...my dad did the same thing with AOL...they talk to you like they are helping you out, by saying you were scammed somewhere else...and then they charge your credit card a fee...and it's usually a lot more than you should ever have to pay...

so did you have to pay?

Nope - I told him where to get off then promtly did a recovery and checked my system out for any remote assist traces left.

I got back into my account aswel after all that just had to change my passwords etc.
