The amount probably won't hold but the suit makes sense. Using her image in advertising without a release is not a good business practice.
Want to bet the photographer signed a contract that says he will indemnify the corporate taco jokers for any cost that arises from their using his images?

She goes after the deep pockets. Only smart to do so. Now we wait to see what the negotiations reveal, if they are ever made public.

As to the lawsuit, probably an easy win if you read what happened. In fact, it's so clear cut I would think Chipotle's attorneys will recommend it be negotiated away before going to court. A note to the woman suing, however: don't accept Chipotle stock as part of the settlement.

As to Chipotle? I'll pass.
