Is the little battery in the camera dead? You know, the watch-type battery?

I believe the camera makes a new folder every 100 pictures. Are you sure it's set to continuous number?

I quite like the new folders every 100 shots - can instantly see what range the number shutter actuations is at without having to scroll to the end of a long list to see the image number.

I download my photos using Photomechanic or Downloader Pro so I don't get to see the results of any folders. I thne format the card in the camera rather than deleting the images so any folders get wiped.

I never see, and am therefore not bothered by any folders.

I agree with MIke.. If you use Canons Zoombrowser to automatically download your photos you will not see the folders. Formatting the card to erase the images is by far the best way to delete images and prepare the card for the camera...
