Printing images from a Mac

My work station has Windows XP, PS CS3 and DPP. Monitor is an NEC multisynce P221W c/w x-rite calibration.

I'm about to purchase an Epson SureColor P800 printer.

XP will not support this printer!

My question is, can I copy images from the work station to a thumb drive then copy to a Macbook Air and print from the Mac without the Mac making any changes to the file?
