Thanks for the heads up! I see it also supports my ancient 20D which still gets some use.

It seems that although DPP 4.5.20 can now open and edit 30D raw files, it cannot read lens data from them and thus DLO doesn't work on these.

Unless I'm doing something wrong...

Or could be the non-updated 30D firmware (1.0.4)? But it was good for DLO in DPP 3.

Well, here's the difference.

For a picture taken with the 5D3, Exif info in DPP 4.5.20 reports:

"Lens EF70-200mm f/4L IS USM"

While for a picture taken with the same lens on the 30D:

"Lens 70.0 - 200.0mm"

No problems at all for my 30D and DLO on DPP4.5.20
I did have to use the Lens Registration tool to update my EF-S 17-55 f2.8 lens, but worked fine afterwards

Thank you YB!

I can uninstall DPP3 now.

It actually does it for you when you update. I don't know when it happened, from 3 to 4 or at version 3 where we finally did not have to restart the computer. That was a nice touch.

HUGE news. Thanks for a BIG heads-up !
Does this mean I can finally give up on the continually disappointing ON1 RAW? LOL.

The 5D is on the list, but in addition to the Classic 5D1 (converted for IR), I also have a 5D2. Gonna' have to look into this to determine if (when they say EOS 5D) it means the classic 1 or all the 5D cameras.

Good news. Especially good for the converted 5D1. DPP was one of the few (only?) RAW converters that would get the WB correct in a converted camera.

Just excellent. Thanks YB !

I still have the 5D Classic, it's my "go to" camera, so good news is good news!!!

Excellent... again !

Downloaded and installed. Works for the 5D classic, the 5D2, and the T3i.

Unfamiliar with the interface, tho. Going to take some learning.

I'm wondering if there are some non-canon lens profiles available somewhere. I have a FF Rokinon fisheye, and a crop sensor Opteka fisheye

As to Tony's "go-to" comment, gonna' agree. The 5D classic, before conversion, just seemed to take better pictures than the 5D2 does. Kinda's sorry I converted it. But the IR is nice, too.

So just when did Canon drop support of the older cameras from its DPP? How long after the original release of the camera had Canon kicked it to the curb, sparking protests from folks?!
