I have a cityscape shot I'd like to get printed - size would be 12 or 14" tall and the width would be 50 or 60 inches. I'm having a hard time locating a quality place that does custom sizes. Any recommendations?

Thanks!
James

First off where are you? That would really help narrow things down. Secondly what sort of product are you actually looking for? Something that can be put up outside and used in all weathers as is often used for advertising, or just a large print? Many labs will, well most labs really, should be able to do prints to that size without too much difficulty. If you only need 12" wide it should be even easier, since that is the standard width of most systems. from 12" you may find that you then need to go to a 16" wide print, since I think that is the next standard size print. I do know that Whitewall (external link) can do just about any custom size up to IIRC 72" square. They operate internationally, they are not cheap, but the quality is superb. I have used their Berlin based lab, and it was no harder than using one here in the UK. I beleive they now have a lab based in the USA too.

It would help to know what type of media you want this printed on . . . . .

Metal?

Acrylic?

Canvas?

Other fabric?

Photo paper?

Please let us know so that we can recommend a place.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I'm in Memphis, TN. Would prefer photo paper mounted to gator board or similar. Next option would be metal, but I doubt I could get one printed that wide and may have to go with multiple pieces. I could go 12 or 16" for the height.

Thanks all!
James
