When I saw the pre-order on Adorama I ordered one of these.

Here (external link) is Adorama link.

Small size, fact that it will participate in X system remote system, including as a controller makes it seem like a good piece of kit.

Just got a note from Adorama that it shipped, should be here Monday.

When it arrives I'll give it a quick run through and put my thoughts into a post.

It arrived Friday.
Quick run through indicates that it will be a creditable speedlite for smallish rooms, and groups. i.e. travel and family which is why I was interested.

A quick test indicates that it is about 1.33EV less powerful than a V860x which is about what I expected.

Since it has a small form factor it arrives with a stofen like attachment. Not sure how useful that will be since I tend to bounce all the time.

It takes a bit of reading and practice to get the hang of how to setup the speedlite as a master of slave in X-sysem. It will control three groups plus itself as master, which makes it a strong contender for use on camera for lightness when doing events with multiple strobes on light stands.

If I used an A6500 for an event it would definitely be the on-camera fill.

Here it is next to the V860x for comparison:

Does anyone know if the TT350-F can do HSS on a Fuji XT-1. The Godox TT350 manual says it should be able as the XT-1 is a catagory A camera, but I read another post that the XT-1 is not capable of HSS and that only a XT-2 offers HSS

As long as your x-t1's firmware is up to date then it will do HSS.

There was a thread over on the Fuji x forum where a user was having hss issues on his x-t1. Ended up just being that he had an older firmware on the x-t1 that didn't hss

When using to trigger any of the godox lights is it possible to actually disable the 350 on top of camera? I thought there were 3 groups plus master. I set the mode to off for master, but the 350 still fires.

Also, I have an X-Pro 2. It seems that in camera flash settings need to be set to TTL? If I set in camera to M the flash won't fire. Sound right?

Other quick observations.

- fully works with my 860ii (TTL and HSS) even though it's not listed in the manual. I of course upgraded the firmware.

- controls AD360i, but anything over sync (on my x-pro2 that is 1/250) flash won't even fire. I'm sure this will be the case for any system that didn't get a firmware upgrade and is using the original 2.4G receivers (for v850s and AD360)

- TTL seems to be least accurate on the AD200 compared to my AD360ii and v860). ABout 1 stop underexposed.

The flash you see from the TT350 if the M group mode is -- may be a pre-flash even though it is using radio to communicate.
The first version 360 should work in HSS providing, a) that you have used the on flash button press to set the flash to HSS, and b) are using a 2.4GHz receiver rather than the original 433MHz receiver.

I haven't done extensive testing for output but generally, my AD200, 360 and 600 have shown accurate output in TTL.

Did you update the AD200 firmware as well?

Yes, otherwise I suspect it wouldn't work at all.

Nope, 360 in HSS doesn't work. I have the 2.4G receiver (otherwise I couldn't control the power). Someone else also reported the same behavior in the Fuji forums. Above sync (on the Pro2 that is 1/250) flash doesn't even fire. I have HSS set on the 360 and enabled FP/HSS on the Xpro2(which in turn enables HSS on the TT350).

And there is no firmware flash (or ability to as far as I know) for the older manual 360.. so that particular combo may not be able to work with HSS unless the issue is in the mini 350

Mine is due to arrive monday. I bought it because its' a cheap small light flash for her X-T20 that will fit nicely in her bag so she has something a bit more powerful than the on board flash and can bounce flash indoors at birthday parties.

Ah, DUH, I just came here to post that mine arrived (it's small and awesome) works great solo, but I had real problems using it as wireless master with ETTL...

Then I remembered that I had updated firmware for absolutely every Godox product I own ... save one. The AD200 I was testing with! DOH!

The fact that I needed a different app to update meant it was left for last,. and forgotten.

Anyway, this little unit is amazing.
The menus are a little trickier to navigate for using as a wireless master, but it really does the trick!

Adam, I will post my results with AD200 after firmware update. Curious to see if our results are similar.

I only did some brief testing, but today once I found the setting as you describe, the 350 was not firing, but it was triggering the AD200.

Without the firmware for the AD200, all TTL shots were 3 to 4 stops underexposed, ie: useless. Silly me for forgetting, and here I was asking YOU if you'd done it ;)

It works fine. Not powerful but small and light just what I was wanting. Should do great for some bounce flash fill for regular interior rooms. I may never use it nor the wife but it's there when we travel and we'll have it just in case.

Got my fuji tt350....works great in ttl solo. I was able to link with my ad360II and control that in manual mode....I had the 350 set to ttl and the ad360 set to manual...works great. Can't get hss at all and when I set both units to ttl, requires a 5 stop exp comp to get anything near a good exposure. My xt1 has the latest firmware.
