I am considering buying a Fuji xt2.. its seems like it could be my jack of all trades camera .. street photography , portraits , cityscapes and weather resistant , rugged travel camera .. well on paper it seems that way anyway
but i'm curious about lighting ..for portraits
I don't really see too much info regarding this..

I have a pair of flashpoint 360 II streaklights ,that I use with my sony and canon cameras, any chance those will work with Fuji? (manual mode only I assume if it did)

what are the options? ..
I know there are Fuji speedlights available
but I would be wanting something strong enough for environmental portraits ..., strong enough to out shine the sun for full body shots

there has to be something available I assume?
ttl would be great .. but manual is fine too.
could be a deal breaker for the xt2 if this is not an option..
keeping my fingers crossed someones got good news for me
any input would be appreicated

Of course there are options, there are flash options for any camera with a hotshoe, especially if you're OK with manual flash.

I use a few Yongnuo YX-560's with my Fuji's, never had an issue with any of them.

I'm using Yongnuo triggers for all my Elinchrom.
I only wish Fuji had a good ETTL option

In manual your 360's will work fine. The issue is if you want HSS. Some people are using the Cactus V6 II trigger to get HSS with fuji but I'm unsure if they work with the streaklight 360's. Hopefully GODOX will release a fuji trigger for all of their flash products soon.

Thanks for the responses ..
Yes i knew there were options .. as ive seen images where lighting was used
But being that they are "unofficial " methods .. its a bit hard to find out exactly what combos work..

Yes i do like using hss .. as i do like doing out door portraits during the day with fast glass.

I have ND filters that i can use :-|

I know from reading that there are things in the works for fuji.. i actually had the cactus v6ii .. bought it for m43 panasonic gx8 i had however it was a disappointment.. hss was very inconsistent and constantly under exposing .
Amd i wasnt the only one with a gx8 that had these issues.. i also read many accounts of people whove had nothing but good to say on fuji and olympus ..

Anyway , aside from a rl600b and a pair of 360ii streak lights i do have yongnuo yn 622c controller and receivers .. and a yn568exii speedlight and a canon 430exii

Hoping the xt1 +streaklights will work.. or maybe the rl600b. (That worked with my m4/3 camera but the 360's wouldnt fire)
Based on what you guys say .. it could be doable
Just really dont want to start completley fron scratch with lighting

I also have the AD600 [rl600] and trigger it from an X1c but probably a better option is an XT32c trigger. Your streaklights are version 2 so operate on the same set up as the 600 [2.4G wireless X system] so will all tie in nicely, controllable in groups or separate from the trigger.

Nissan have a few nice flashes that work with TTL and possibly HSS in the near future.

Very useful info in this thread, I will be making the transition as well and was curious about wireless triggers with TTL.

Cactus V6 mk2 triggers will can support TTL/HSS. I love using my cactus triggers for my Canon gear but the size of the trigger is one big clunky setup on my fuji gear.

If you own an X-E2 the cactus V6mk2 will not support HSS but work manual mode.

I'm still waiting for 3rd party alternatives in speedlites that support TTL/HSS on shoe.
