This was a really, really difficult decision to make – there were some beautiful photographs to choose from.
After much deliberation I finally settled on

1. _SBradley_
Windblown tree in the Snow

2. t-bonestahl
Spring flowers in Florida

3. StefanA
Big snowstorm

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

A few words about the winning photographs:
1. _SBradley_
Windblown tree in the Snow

Well spotted!

You did a great job of setting this tree in the foreground, with it’s snow covered rocks at it’s foot, yet still giving us enough background to really see the beauty of this landscape.

Awesome sharp photograph and well balanced.
Well done!

2. t-bonestahl
Spring flowers in Florida

I just love the colours of this beautiful Spring day.
The water in the background, and the little flowers in the foreground give me a great feeling of tranquility.
It makes me want to haul out my picnic blanket and a good book, and go out there and enjoy nature at it’s very best.
Well done on a beautiful photograph!

[COLOR=#000000]
3. StefanA
Big snowstorm

Stefan A - I just love the feeling that this photograph gave me!
It’s such a beautiful log cabin, and the way it is totally covered in snow – gives me the feeling of dead of winter…

You captured it beautifully – with the little fence on the righthand side.
The whole feel of this photograph, just makes me wish I were there.
Well done!

To all the other entrants - as I said before, it was a difficult choice to make: well done to everybody!

[SIZE=3]Thanx for entering!! :)

Challenge #10 - Four Seasons

Show me your weather!

I want to see what season you’re experiencing in your part of the world.
I want to be where you are.

It can be photos of kids playing in the snow, the beauty of an autumn day, fun in the sun…the promise of spring. Any photograph depicting the weather you’re having right now.

Best of luck to you all!
Go out there and have fun!:)

This picture should be larger, but I can't seem to figure out how you all save such small files that have good res., and will enlarge as big as the web page. The full 450kb pic is available here if anyone can help me out:

Late summer with its light cloud cover and a only a gentle breeze makes for the perfect fishing season.

Spring Rains Brings Spring Waterfalls

Title: Spring Rains Brings Spring Waterfalls

Camera: Canon S2 IS

Comments: Spring is just beginning here in Southern Illinois. The trees are not yet budding much, but the spring rains have begun. This means, if you are willing to hike a little, you can see some beautiful waterfalls.
