Code for quoting images horizontally?

When replying to a post that contains multiple images, how can I make the images form a row, not a column?

All you need to do is remove the line breaks between images:

[IMG]1st image[/IMG] [IMG]2nd image[/IMG]

It's just a special "internal render mode", not a command:
Images are displayed horizontally when there is no text in the quote, only images. It does not work with hosted photos (because hosted photo quotes are always with text), only for img code.
