My first few years of shooting macro did not get a decent result. Yours however are lovely, interesting shots.

Thanks so much, I do have several photo's that didn't turn out very good.
I will have the borrowed lens until sometime next week.

I plan to put it to good use this weekend then decide what I want to purchase.
I have now done a little post editing on the photo's I posted.

Maybe the owner of the lens will be interested in selling, I will be asking.
He also let me borrow a Canon 29-300mm lens.

I have really been amazed at the photo's posted on here, some very talented photographers.
Thanks to you all, you inspire me.

Every time I try macro shots I get too close to the subject and ruin my depth of field. You seem to have good control over that. Good starting work!

I did have some trouble with DOF.
I will be returning the lens tomorrow to my co-worker.

He has told me anytime I want to borrow I can.
I also borrowed a 29-300mm lens.

That's one generous coworker you have there.

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!
