i've never calibrated ,, i have a dual monitor situation going on.. i used to use firefox .. but was having issues with plugins running constantly .. so i started using google chrome.. i prefer it over IE .. however i get these wierd colors that i didnt get in firefox or IE .. its where it transitions from one color to another , or highlights to shadows .. its pretty ugly and noticable .. but only in images .. not in video

The original post does not sound like a calibration issue... rantercsr wrote in post #18263120 when using google chrome.. images often , but not always have a weird mucky green / mustardy color but on internet explorer colors show properly always .. Have you tried the steps I've outlined in response #2?

Be specific, Windows 7 32bit or 64 bit, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, etc. I can't offer much help with a Mac product but I would post whatever version you are using just so you are informative about your problem. Feb 03, 2017 08:48 | #8 Could also be a color space issue. Do you consistently see it with a specific image you could point us to? I come here for your expert opinion. Please do not hesitate to critique or edit.

Based on the OP originally stating "when using google chrome.. images often , but not always have a weird mucky green / mustardy color but on internet explorer colors show properly always" I do not believe this to be a color space issue.

Wow, hardware acceleration is virtually always the issue with a yellowish tint to Google Chrome. All I can suggest is you go back into the settings routine and verify that the changes you made indeed "took".
