Lens Model: Canon FD 85mm f1.2 L
Lens Body Condition: Very good, clean condition on the whole. Some small scrapes and nicks along the rear edge of the main barrel behind the focus ring. Mechanically great, with nicely snappy aperture and smooth focus. The only area of wear that has an affect on function is the hood bayonet interface, although I think it's the hood that is worn and not the lens. With some fiddling, the hood can be made to sit properly, but it's not effortless like a new lens would be.
Lens Glass Condition: Again, very good on the whole. The rear element is excellent. The front element is also excellent, with very minor signs of wear. Under the right light, you can see some sort of thin scratch, but I can't actually tell if it's on the exterior surface of the front element. The interior of the lens has the usual sort of dust and several other particles that are visible when you shine a light in there. Also, there are some oil spots on the aperture blades (shown in photos).
This was all the same as when I purchased it a couple years ago. At the time I took it into a lens cleaner to get their opinion and they said cleaning was optional if it bothered me, but not necessary for any reason.
