Little Wolf

The Mexican Grey Wolf is only the size of a large dog - not nearly as big as it's northern cousins. But it's a beautiful animal and it is clearly all wolf regardless of it's smaller size. Here are a couple of recent shots.

A great looking wolf. Were these in the wild?

No they are in the Oklahoma City Zoo. But the species is native to the southwest US and a part of an exhibit of Oklahoma species.
