These 2 are prolific in the desert SW. They look similar but are not the same. Kind of cool though.

I learned of the Pyrrhuloxia, I think, 2 winters ago and got good shots of one. As I understand it, these only range into the U.S. as far as the southern tip of Texas. Rog
