now with ground effects, I went for a drive today looking for more dramatic backgrounds sigh I want some urban vista will keep looking

Nice ride, but dramatic light trumps dramatic backgrounds IMO.

subject+ light+ surroundings+"poin tof view"+ editing and developement= a photo as opposed to an image as my sig says you make a photo you don't just take it. I do not pretend to be a master like adams but I play at it. I shoot in raw plus jpg here are the jpg from the camera and my take on it. the after noon sun is a bit limiting but can be modified. I really want to try a 'gritty background with some light painting as an excercise

I would've tried finding a spot with less spotty lighting. Also, being pulled halfway onto the grass is not flattering at all.

The long shadow cast onto the hood kills it for me, great looking car though!
