Sigma 14/1.8 Art and 135/1.8 Art primes are coming!

Sigma covered the whole midrange of primes with 5 outstanding Art prime.
Now they are aiming for two lenses a little more on the extreme end and where an aperture of 1.4 is too hard to make.

20/1.4
24/1.4
35/1.4
50/1.4
85/1.4
138/1.8

What do you guys think about those two lenses?
Are those lenses going to be the ultimate Nightscape and portrait lenses?

Interesting if true

if the 50 and 85 are a basis for anything, the 135 will be a whopping 1+ kg.....

I'm sure optics will be great, however optics of 135's in general have been great for the past 40 years. If it's over 800g, I probably wont bother replacing the 135L.

Would be terrific to have an Art 135mm f/1.8-2 with OS less than 1.2 Kg!
The sigma 14 is also interesting if coma control is top notch

Edit: Someone in the comments on that thread mentioned the 14 being for APS-C? That can't be right, can it?

So the 14 is a full-frame lens.
The 135 looks like a really compact lens (smaller than the 85/1.4)

that 135 looks short... if it's not internal focusing and stays short like that while in the bag, I think I can wing it. The older FD 135 extended when focusing, and I really like that design. Keeps the lens shorter than an IF lens.

That 135A looks very 85A-like and the 14A looks very much like the 12-24A.

if it wasn't f6.3 on the long end, i could see that maybe being a possibility...but with the f6.3, it makes me think that it's more of a budget telephoto, then something to compete with the 100-400II...but who knows, we'll all see when the prices are released

the 135 is interesting to me, but i'm just kinda hoping it's release drops the price of the 135L that i've been itching to get
