Great, I wil see you next year if you are still in Tagaytay, I play golf at the midands and always go there for weekend lunches at Highlands and by next year the house my daughter is constructing in the Tagaytay Highlands- Midlands will be finished, it is a 5 story edifice, started this year but may take up to February.

I will be driving to San Francisco on Sunday for a week, then to LAX sometime in July, we go to Cuba end of August in time for the bday celebrations of daughter-in-law at the Atlantis hotel in Nassau Bahamas, Sept 1... Sept 25 we fly to Barcelona drive around northern Spain then to Paris to take the train to Lyon for Leica One challenge Oct 13.

no plans yet for Nov, Dec, maybe we will fly for Manila in January to March

then we can see you, do you have a baby?

Cheers

Nice... looks like you're very busy going around  Leica One challenge? Glad to see you're still so into photography.
I'm now down to just a few tiny cameras and really mostly take photos using my phone haha... No big trips for us this year too, last year though we did a 2 month trip in Georgia/Armenia/Dubai but this year it's just Japan again, Korea and some local spots (El Nido, Coron, Davao etc.)

Highland and Midlands are definitely nice I'm sure you'll love staying there when you come visit next time. We should still be here or maybe in our tiny condo somewhere in Nuvali (Sta. Rosa Laguna) so it shouldn't be too difficult to set up a meet.

No plans for a baby yet... or ever. I'm already pretty busy with famous alone :-P

Visited the Leica store, for a small event and I tested the $11,590 Noctilux .95 lens, then I bought a visioflex electroni view finder to help me focus and compose, range finder is slower and also the view is trucated when you start changing lenses with varying focal lenghts- here are three images two with the Noctilux lens and another with my 50 yr old Elmarit 90

Noctilux

that is the reason I prefer to play golf at the midlands and not at the highland golf course:
Tagaytay Highlands- Midland gold course looking into Mt Makiling

we spend so much time at the Tagytay Highlands for golf or weekend lunch and also a couple of new year's eve, this one was from Dec 31 2014, looking into the Highlands clubhouse from the Peak bar of the old caldera of taal volcano with Mt Makiling and Banahaw both dormant volcanoes in the background

Nice Tony. Whenever we visit Tagaytay again I'm going to insist on trying a different hotel. We were at Taal Vista last time. The vantage point was nice but maybe we'll wanna try a different view.

Steven, From Nuvali our place at McKinley Hill Village should be easy to reach too. This is the only place in BGC where there are single family homes albeit high rises too, our place here is 8 levels 5 stories high and even the swiming pool is a tub over the basement garage... :-) it is opposite the British embassy just off C5.

I enjoyed the small A6000 camera look at these images the first one is with the kit lens, later I changed it to the Sigma art 19 mm for even sharper images

Taal volcano from Balay Dako A6000 with kit lens a $548 set up

Haha our place is not facing the cliff/volcano so it's not really an everyday affair with the strong winds... also it's a bit seasonal, some months it's just constant howling winds, fog etc., other months it's calm and dry.

Great shots Tony! I need start taking photos of our local landscapes again -? We're planning to go/drive around the country (again) in the next couple of months so hopefully I'll be taking tons of photos then.

I've only been to Tagaytay Highlands I think 3x but it's always a pleasure to visit hehe it is steadily getting crowded though... Midlands does indeed offer the best of both worlds in there, less windy, more flatlands I think and you still get that beautiful
