Other lenses also... Is this something sending back to canon could fix? Not really sure what the cause of it would be.

Im not really sure. You’d know better but glancing at the photos it looks less like it’s missing focus and more like everything is just soft. Depending on who owned the camera before you I’m wondering if the sensor just needs to be cleaned.

The 1dX is off, high iso at F2.* ?? is it brand new, may need a firmware upgrades.

I had an issue with the Sony A7R4 when I first used in an airshow, using Sony A7R and Canon 5D2 I am used in reconfirming tracking Focus by doing another back focus....not for the A7R4, once it tracks no need to back focus again, which I was doing and creating bad images.

Maybe you are not set on correct auto focus setting on the 1Dx ( I had similar issue first using eye focus tracking). after I got use to the advanced focus setting on the A7R4 it was better focusing then 7R.

Even the bokeh looks weird to me... I was going to take it in and have the sensor cleaned and the lens calibrated

Yeah something just seems a little off all around. I feel like that’s a good place to start, it’s just good preventative maintenance at the least.

These look great tony. I have been on the fence about selling everything and getting into Sony. Just don't really want to have to relearn everything. I feel super comfortable with Canon.

Don't the 1D bodies come with MFA adjustment option? Looking at the crop of the first photo, that guy's shorts look pretty crisp to me.

I was never been able afford a 1D so I don’t have personal experience but I think you’re right! That would be a good first step.

Haha me too. I don't even shoot anything that would remotely justify the cost, either :-P

Omar in your trip I would recommend some of you bring or all bring Paxlovid ask you primary to write prescriptions, as well as covid test kits, Covid 19 cases on the rise in the country.

My wife and I got the Covid in Portugal, and we had paxlovid which we took upon testing positives,

Thanks a lot Tony. We just got to Cebu today from Boracay. We have tests with us and so far so good!
