Picking up an X-t20, hopefully next week. Pre-Ordered at the local camera shop. Anyone else looking forward to it? Favorite lens? For me this will be a pleasure camera in addition to my 5d mk4 kit.

I'm holding off my temptations for now...

As for favorite XF lenses... all of them are great, but my 2 must have, always in my bag lenses are the 18mm f2 and 35mm f1.4.

Do some quick run/gun video with the X-T20.....you'll never touch your 5dmk4 on any family outings ;)

Ungraded vids from my X-T2 is extremely impressive!!!! X-T20 will be my secondary camera for my secondary system :)

Two lenses in my small bag right now are 16/1.4 & 90/2 the 35/1.4 in on the camera. All the Fuji lenses are very good, some better at different things, like faster AF. Also the 18/2 is my other favourite lenses too.
Enjoy the X-T20

Dude, Fuji is going to catch you totally off guard. You think you are getting some hipster companion camera.....but you are really about to get what will soon become your favorite digital camera platform. Seriously.

Everything is relative.

What promise did the camera store make to you about when to expect the T20?

Locally they are expecting the X-T20 this week. I already called my favourite camera shop and have a body on hold tentatively...as well as the EX-F500 & Metz m400....decisions decisions.....Still pondering but since I'm attempting to me a minimalistic shooter for my secondary camera system I need to think long and hard.

Having Canon full frame is my primary system but as I've adopted an 80D this have given me more versatility with the 1.6 crop factor. Now with Fuji I am floored in how it performs against my full frame gear.

I pre-ordered at my local shop. Bummed at how quick some others have got theirs. But I will try to be patient. Plan to take it to Grand Canyon on spring break, so hopefully they hurry.

Can you elaborate?

I currently shoot a Canon 6D. It's great, but with any kind of zoom lens it's a big camera that draws attention. I'm considering getting something like the Fuji as a travel camera. I'd love to know how I'll feel going from FF to a crop sensor.

Also, can it shoot silently like the Sony A6300 and 6500? I love the option of having zero sound come from a camera.

Thanks.

Mike, I'll have to first tell you to not even think about what sensor is inside. I was definitely a self proclaimed FF snob LOL!!! I never thought I'd ever shoot a crop sensor ever again.

The image quality I get with my current fuji lens selection is truly fantastic. Just think I'm comparing this to my Canon lenses I own. When I edit in lightroom I really "feel" how the raw file gets manipulated. The Fuji files reminds me of a rich dynamic range full frame sensor RAW file. Heck even my Canon 80D has totally changed my attitude towards a Canon crop sensor.

In the past the crop sensor files felt thin and 2D. The fuji files definitely are lush/rich and you can push and pull the Raw files alot.

I decided to hold off on buying an x-t20 as I'm considering of building my lenses in the fuji line(this is what I say now). However I still use my Canon for my typical workflow.

In the past I used M43 alot and now that I shoot fuji I virtually NEVER feel like I yearn for better IQ. The 80d also is another example of appreciating incredible IQ in a crop sensor. Just think this is how I'm rating image quality via MONITOR not print. On print you can use an iphone 7 jpg and appreciate the camera output. Critical analysis using a monitor the Fuji has delivered just as much as my full frame gear!!!
