anti-Bump rule if < 1 day

I posted a reply reply to a thread in the For Sale section, commenting about product and price being good but not needing one myself, hoping to stimulate sale of the item because a day had passed with no other replies.

About 12 hours later I changed my mind, since the price was so good, and I wanted to post another reply, that 'I changed my mind, sent a PM' to the thread.
But the anti-bump rule would not allow me to post another reply so close in time to my first reply!

So I beat the software by simply adding a comment 'changed my mind, sent a PM' as an edit to the one message that I had posted 12 hours earlier!

It seems the anti-bump rule should not apply to repliers, but only to the Thread Starter!

unless you get a buddy to reply and bump for you or make a 2nd account just for that purpose. It happens more than people think.

Goes contrary to POTN rules...folks have been banned from POTN for violating this rule!
