Dear Phil,

Very nice. Woodpeckers are reliable visitors to my yard but I never seem to have my camera handy? When I plan for them though they never seem to show up?

I'll keep trying though!

I prefer the first image as there is less background distraction. Also, the first image has eye contact for the beholder. That one is really nice!
