Dominance in the deer world

Found this whitetail deer exhibiting dominance over another whitetail. Those hooves can leave some nasty scars on the receiving end.

I see this all the time Terry.. Not so much as dominance but in keeping the pecking order to food sources.

I like the look on the deer that's got all four legs on the ground.

That indeed is very correct Jeff. Pine boughs are pretty much the only food source around here at the present time till the snow depths subside some. Pretty tough winter for critters.
