My daughter want some of my pictures printed on cloth to make dresses from them.
Any experience out there?

My parents took some of my best dragonfly photos and incorporated them into a custom quilt. They printed on Dad's HP inkjet "on the lowest res setting, draft if you can". I don't know the model of printer, but I'm sure it was a mid level consumer model - nothing fancy.

They bought the material at a quilt store. Dad described it simply as "commercial cloth". The cloth has instructions for best results. There are levels of thread count, materials, etc. June Taylor is the cloth maker. It has been washed half a dozen times and still looks great.

Being a quilt, these are 4 inch squares.

It looks like that company does make some satin material, so you should be able to play with it without risking large swaths of material.
