Just got some new gear, and a (non-ironed, non-tensioned) backdrop set up for some pics of our new family addition. I now have a better understanding of the difficulty in getting 1 (or more!) kids to cooperate with taking pictures!

Here are a couple of the new little one first!

Yeah I typically don't even try sibling shots unless the baby is wrapped tightly. They will usually fall asleep easily that way or at least makes it easy for the sibling to hold them and keeps those legs from flailing.

I feel your pain. I have a little baby photog business and my last customers wanted desperately for the 2 yr old to hold his newborn sister. And he was having no part of it. Mini-marshmallows are a good bribery tool.....for the next time. :-P

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Try something like this where the toddler has back support.

All your photos are beyond incredible. I have never seen anyone photograph children/teens so beautifully. It is the closest thing I can imagine to capturing their true selves. Great work :love::love:
