The rear display stays on, and ecept the main wheel all controls are dead. Can't change modes, cant change excess menu change any setting. it focuses fine and both wheels and dof button(custom) is working The amateur worries about gear, the professional about money, and the artist about light.

If you're brave enough, you can open the rear cover and clean the ribbon connection to the wheel. This happened to my friend's 6D and cleaning the connection fixed it. Gear List
